Foster BD and brand building strategy, establish networks towards sourcing for new CDMO clients and lead the execution to achieve company market and revenue generation growth goal.
Analyze industry market Intelligence, propose business plan and drive the execution based on the finding of market development, new trends /projects, competitor activity, and customers’ needs assessment etc.
Partner closely with Marketing to define and implement marketing strategy to drive growth in various business funnels.
Lead the contract negotiation and oversee the cross-function collaboration to make sure closure of customer contracts.
Liaise with various layers of team members across function to ensure client experience in all cases of client interactions from follow up to delivery.
Further enhance the China BD Team capability, train and motive the team to achieve targeted goals.
Lead the CRM system establishment and enhancement, to ensure the organic and sustainable business growth.
BA/BS/PhD degree in a Life Sciences discipline.
Possess strong network of contacts within the China biotech industry.
Existing knowledge of the process development & production of CGT and/or mRNA medicines is strongly preferred; Must have strong Biologics knowledge (biologics bioprocessing) if no CGT experience.
15+ years’ relevant experience in sales, and other roles with transferrable skills; experience in an executive Business Development role with demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth targets & customer satisfaction.
Previous experience with a CDMO organization.
Outstanding ability to build key customer relationships with the ability to educate and demonstrate technical value propositions to promote the company’s service offering.

Location requirement: Hangzhou, China strongly preferred however key biotech hub locations in China could be considered; relocation support available.
Willing to travel frequently.
Fluent in Mandarin; prefer bi-lingual Mandarin/English speaker.
